UMADAOP11 Lucas County

UMADAOP Lucas County has a long history of providing comprehensive, evidence-based, long term community focused prevention programs for children, families and adults. The programs work with parents, teachers, faith institutions and other community stakeholders geared to provide information dissemination, education, drug free alternative activities, community-based processes and referrals. The programs have goals and objectives aimed to reduce alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, (ATOD) provide education to help parents set clear expectations and monitor children, teach children how to cope with peer pressure, adopt positive conflict management strategies, and enhance family bonding.
