S eulgi Joung, a connections specialist, along with her teammate Shayon, greets the participants andmakes sure their intake goes as smooth as possible. She does phone assessments, answers questions, and works with DEFACS workers and legal workers such as public defenders. Seulgi says Mary Hall is completely different from her former job. Her teammates agree, saying she nowhas tight-knit friendshipswith all of them. “My old job had a staleworking environment and I desired a fulfilling job. I was looking for something that was meaningful. I searched online for companies with facilities that dealt with addiction programs.” She came across Mary Hall Freedom Village and joined their team, where she found the fulfillment that she was looking for. “Our team is very close! And I believe in our mission statement of breaking the cycle of addiction, poverty, and homelessness of women and children.’ I wanted to be part of a company like that.
